Door damper (white) ZT-AFWH – how to choose the right one
ZT-AFWH is a white nylon buffer that quietens the slamming of doors and fronts as they close. It works as a supplement to the catch, not as the part holding the leaf shut.
The white has a practical purpose here. The part usually ends up at the inner edge of the front and in a light-coloured unit it disappears once the door is closed. On a dark body the same little block catches the eye – the grey variant is then more sensible.
Noisy closing rarely comes from a fault. More often it is down to a springy gasket and a front returning faster than the fitter allowed for – and it is exactly that excess energy the buffer takes out.

No. Once closed, the door is still held by the catch or a magnet, and this part only slows the movement just before contact. Removing the catch and leaving only the buffer will end with a front that swings open.
How many pieces go on one door?
The manufacturer imposes no number. In practice you start with one at the closing edge and add a second only when the front is wide and the impact is still audible.
How does the white version differ from the grey?
Only in colour – the material and the way it works are identical. What decides is the background the block will be seen against once the door is closed.
