Two-hole deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap (1/2") AG-3/05FE – how to choose the right one
AG-3/05FE is a deck-mounted two-hole pre-rinse spray tap with a 1/2 inch connection, with self-lubricating, non-seizing heads and a swivel spout. The braided hose is insulated and reinforced at the ends, and it is guided by a chrome-plated spring.
Splitting the body and the spray head into two fixing points gives a more rigid station: tugging on the gun is not transmitted to the tap, because the spring column has its own support in the worktop. This pays off wherever the spray head is in use for most of the shift.
The price of that rigidity is the need for two holes at a specific spacing. The manufacturer does not give it in the description, so when ordering for a finished worktop – especially one in which the holes are already cut – it has to be established before the crew arrives with tools.

A separate support for the spray column. The forces from tugging on the hose then go into the worktop rather than into the tap body, which under heavy use translates into a more durable fixing. It does, however, require a worktop with two holes at the right spacing.
How does it differ from AG-9/05BD?
In the heads. AG-3/05FE has the self-lubricating version, described as non-seizing, while AG-9/05BD has the ceramic one. The mounting, the 1/2 inch connection and the swivel spout are the same in both cases.
