Deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap (3/8") AG-1/05FE – how to choose the right one
AG-1/05FE is a deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap with a body of chrome-plated brass, with self-lubricating heads and a swivel spout, on a 3/8 inch connection and a 35 mm mounting hole. The braided hose is made in a stainless, insulated version.
Chrome-plated brass is the standard in this tapware, but for this part number the manufacturer has stated it explicitly – which matters when the order specification calls for the body material and not only the finish.
This is the most fully described model in the AG-1 family: it has a swivel spout, a stainless hose and a chrome-plated spring. The FB, FE and 05FB versions differ from it by single items of equipment, so a comparison is best started from this very data sheet.

A stainless steel braid does not rust where water and chemicals constantly collect – that is in the bend by the spring and at the gun itself. The manufacturer additionally reinforces it at the ends, because that is where the hose works hardest with every pull.
How to choose between AG-1/05FE and AG-1FE?
By the swivel spout. The 05FE version has it in the list, AG-1FE does not – everything else, including the 3/8 inch connection and the 35 mm hole, is described identically.
