Deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap (3/8") AG-100C – how to choose the right one
AG-100C is a single-hole pre-rinse spray tap with 3/8 inch connections, ceramic heads and a swivel spout, intended for a Ø35 mm hole. The insulated braided hose is held by a chrome-plated steel spring.
AG-100C has almost the same set of features as AG-100: ceramic heads, a Ø35 mm mounting hole, 3/8 inch connections and the same flow rate. The two may differ in the hose – on AG-100 it is stainless.
In practice this means one thing: if AG-100 is already in the design, moving to AG-100C changes nothing in the preparation of the worktop or the installation. If, however, a specific version of the hose matters, the difference has to be queried when ordering.

From the installation point of view either will do – they have the same cut-out diameter, the same connection and the same flow rate. Availability usually decides, and if the specification requires the version of the hose to be confirmed, that has to be settled when placing the order.
Will a tap with a 3/8 inch connection cope with pre-rinsing?
Yes, because in this role it is not the volume that counts but the force of the jet in the narrow spray head. The stated 9–15 l/min is a typical value for this whole family of tapware.
