Deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap (3/8") AG-1FB – how to choose the right one
AG-1FB is a single-hole pre-rinse spray tap with a 3/8 inch connection, without an additional spout, with self-lubricating heads and a steel spring in blue. It is mounted in a hole 35 mm in diameter.
Within the AG-1 family this part number is the most basic version: a gun, a spring, two handles and nothing more. Where the station is responsible solely for rinsing plates before the rack, fewer parts mean fewer places for grease to collect.
The blue finish of the spring is the only difference from AG-1FE. When ordering spare parts or adding a second station it is worth checking this, so that the kitchen does not end up with two taps in different colours side by side.

The manufacturer gives no data on this – the catalogue has a separate part number 05FB which comes with one from the factory. It is safer to select the right version from the start than to assume it can be added later.
When is the spray head alone enough, without a spout?
When the sink handles a single task: knocking residues off dishes going into the dishwasher. If water is also drawn for pots or buckets are filled in the same place, the lack of a spout will soon start to be a nuisance.
