Deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap (3/8") AG-1M/05FE – how to choose the right one
AG-1M/05FE is a deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap on ceramic heads, with a swivel spout, a chrome-plated spring and control combining a handle with a lever. The connection is 3/8 inch and the mounting hole 35 mm.
The letter M denotes here a variant of the AG-1 family rebuilt around ceramics. The effect is felt in use: the water starts after a short movement, without several turns of opening, which when working in gloves matters more than the description would suggest.
The model therefore combines the fixing and the connection known from the whole AG-1 family with the control typical of the AG-100 series. If the back-of-house area already has one of these taps, the second can be installed beside it without changes to the installation.

Ask a questionHow does the M version differ from the ordinary AG-1/05FE?
In the type of heads and the way it is controlled. The M version has ceramic cartridges and a handle with a lever, the basic 05FE – self-lubricating heads and two classic handles. The mounting and the connection remain unchanged.
Does ceramic require different servicing?
A ceramic cartridge is replaced as a whole instead of adjusting a gland. The manufacturer does not give a cartridge designation for this model, so when planning spare parts it has to be established separately.
