Deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap (3/8") AG-D25G – how to choose the right one
AG-D25G is a deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap with a 250 mm spout, built on ceramic heads, with a stainless hose and a chrome-plated spring. It is mounted in a Ø35 mm hole on a 3/8 inch connection.
In practice this part number is taken when another model from the G variant is already on the order and the kitchen wants a set from a single line. The parameters agree with the B equivalent, so the decision changes nothing in preparing the station.
In this design the spring is the component easiest to forget about, and yet it decides the convenience: without it the gun would lie on the bottom of the sink and the hose would pick up residues from the bowl after every use.

In a large kitchen it makes ordering and servicing easier: one part number in the records instead of two similar ones. Technically the B and G variants are described identically, so mixing them causes no installation problems.
How should the spring be looked after during daily cleaning?
Rinse it together with the tap and do not leave chemical residues in it. The chrome plating stands up to cleaning well, but dried deposits between the coils can restrict its movement over time.
