Deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap (3/8") AG-D30B – how to choose the right one
AG-D30B is a deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap with a spout 300 mm long, on ceramic heads, with a stainless braided hose and a chrome-plated spring. The connection is 3/8 inch and the mounting hole diameter is 35 mm.
Three hundred millimetres is the reach for double-bowl sinks and for situations in which the tap has to stand to one side because an extraction hood or a shelf hangs over the bowl. The water then reaches where it is needed, without moving the vessel under the stream.
A long arm has its price, though: it takes up more space above the worktop and is easier to catch when carrying tall containers. If the bowl lies close to the tap, a shorter version from the same series will be more practical.

Ask a questionWill 300 mm not turn out to be too much?
Sometimes they will. Over a cramped sink the end of the spout then goes beyond the bowl and water drips onto the worktop every time it is turned off. With a bowl narrower than 40 cm it is safer to reach for the 250 mm version.
Does a longer spout reduce the pressure at the outlet?
The manufacturer does not differentiate the flow rate between lengths in this series, so no such relationship follows from the data. The pressure at the station depends above all on the installation, not on a dozen or so centimetres of pipe.
