Deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap (3/8") AG-MDIX – how to choose the right one
AG-MDIX is a deck-mounted pre-rinse spray tap with a 3/8 inch connection, operated by a single stainless steel lever and working on a ceramic cartridge. The braided hose is stainless, insulated and reinforced at both ends.
One lever instead of a pair of handles reduces operation to a single movement: the flow and the temperature are set with the same hand while the other holds the vessel. In pre-rinsing, where the water is shut off and turned on dozens of times in a shift, this shows in the pace of work.
The manufacturer's description of this part number is exceptionally short – it gives neither the flow rate, nor the diameter of the mounting hole, nor the length of the hose. If the tap is to go into the hole left by the previous fitting, these dimensions have to be confirmed before ordering.
