Deck-mounted tap with an automatic spray head (3/8") AG-1SPC – how to choose the right one
AG-1SPC is a deck-mounted tap with an automatic spray head, without an additional arm, with self-lubricating heads, a ball joint and a gas spring. It requires a hole 35 mm in diameter and a 3/8 inch connection.
A design without a spout leaves the most free space above the sink in the whole group of automatic models. When washing tall transport containers or baking trays, nothing restricts sliding them into the bowl from above.
The self-closing mechanism itself matters more here than in models with a spout. Since the gun serves the whole station, it is in use practically without a break, and every release of the lever means the flow stops at once.

The manufacturer provides for no service operations on it and gives no service life. In practice attention is paid to whether the gun still returns smoothly to its rest position – a loss of that smoothness is the first sign of wear.
Can a spout be added to this model?
The catalogue does not provide for such an extension, and the equivalent with a spout is the part number AG-1/05SPC. The choice therefore has to be made before purchase, not after the tap has been fitted in the worktop.
