Deck-mounted tap with an automatic spray head (3/8") AG-9/05SPC – how to choose the right one
AG-9/05SPC is a deck-mounted tap with an automatic spray head, based on ceramic heads, with a ball joint and a gas spring. It has a 3/8 inch connection, a 35 mm mounting hole and a flow rate stated in the range from 9 to 15 l/min.
In the group of automatic models this is the only one with ceramic cartridges – the others work on self-lubricating heads. For the station this means a short handle travel when setting the temperature, which is changed rarely anyway, because turning the water on is the gun's job.
Such a division of roles is convenient: the handles are set once at the start of the shift, and for the rest of the day only the lever of the spray head is used. The heads then work in far gentler conditions than in a tap where it is they that shut the water off.

Less than in a classic tap, because the handles serve to set the temperature and not to turn the water on continually. Ceramic does, however, make it easier to hit the same setting repeatedly after shutting off at the end of a shift.
What distinguishes this part number from AG-1SPC?
