Touchless flush valve (1/2") AG-3017 – how to choose the right one
AG-3017 is a touchless flush valve on a 1/2" connection, triggered by a sensor with a range of up to 60 cm and powered by batteries. Unlike the taps in this group, it does not deliver water to a basin but triggers flushing.
Touchless operation is justified differently here than at the sink: this is the place the user touches at the very end of a visit to the toilet, before washing their hands. Removing the button cuts out one of the most frequently handled points in the whole sanitary area.
Battery supply simplifies installation, because no power has to be run behind the sanitaryware wall, but it shifts the duty to the staff: battery replacement has to enter the maintenance schedule, otherwise the valve stops working at the least convenient moment.

No, it is a different device. A flush valve releases a portion of water into a pan or a urinal, and does not control the flow from a spout. For a basin there are the models described as basin valves or photocell taps.
How much water does one activation release?
The manufacturer gives neither this value nor the flushing time. If the premises account for water consumption per sanitary area, it is worth asking this question before ordering.
