Ceramic infrared emitter (1000 W) KE-ACS1-1000W

Item no. KE-ACS1-1000W · EAN 2010000164631

  • features a spherical shape of the radiating surface (this allows the radiant heater to be placed further from the heated surface while reducing the number of radiant heaters on the heating table)
  • when radiant heaters of this type are used in thermoforming machines, a distance of 15-20 cm from the heater to the formed material is recommended, and a spacing of 3-5 cm between the individual heaters
  • they are well suited to heating panels in all drying and heating processes
Power
1000 W

In brief

  • The highest output of a single emitter in this category: 1000 W.
  • A spherical radiating surface allows the body to be set further back from the field being heated.
  • The same shape reduces the number of units needed to populate a heating table.
  • The part number covers a single output – there are no variants to specify when ordering.

Ceramic infrared emitter (1000 W) KE-ACS1-1000W – how to choose the right one

KE-ACS1-1000W is a 1000 W ceramic infrared emitter – the most powerful heating element in this group. The spherical shape of the radiating surface allows it to be set further from the object being heated and to populate a heating table with fewer units.

A kilowatt on a single body changes the arithmetic of the whole panel. Instead of a row of weaker elements you design in fewer fixing points, less wiring and fewer places where worn ceramic will later have to be replaced.

At this output the working distance matters. For thermoforming machines the manufacturer gives 15–20 cm between the emitter and the material being formed, plus a gap of 3–5 cm between adjacent units – values worth transferring to the panel drawing before the frame is built.

How to choose the power and the type of emitter for the station – we explained it in the selection guide for this category.

Where it works

  • Heater panels with a large working area
  • Machines for thermoforming plastics
  • Drying coatings and damp semi-finished products
  • Stations with a single strong point of heat

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Have not found your answer? Give the area and the mounting height – we will select the power and the type.

Ask a question
How many 1000 W emitters are needed for one panel?

The catalogue data sheet gives no conversion per square metre, but it does give a gap of 3–5 cm between adjacent units. The number of elements is therefore set by the dimension of the working field and the spacing adopted, not by the output alone.

Does this model come in other outputs?

Not under this part number. The KE-ACS1 series has separate items for 150, 250, 300, 400, 500 and 650 W, each with its own catalogue code and its own EAN number.

Why does an emitter need a spherical surface?

So that the heat leaves the body over a wider angle than from a flat face. One element then covers a larger section of the table and can be hung at a greater distance from the object being heated.
