Ceramic infrared emitter (150 W) KE-ACS1-150W – how to choose the right one
KE-ACS1-150W is a 150 W ceramic infrared emitter, the weakest element of the KE-ACS1 series available under its own code. It is intended for heater panels used in drying and heating processes.
One hundred and fifty watts rarely suffices as a standalone source of heat over a larger station. This output works rather in sets: several units spaced 3–5 cm apart give an even field instead of a single hot spot.
A fine step of output can also be a service choice. If an existing panel heats the material too strongly, replacing some of the units with weaker ones brings the temperature down without touching the supply or the fixings.

Probably not. At this output it is typical to populate the panel with several units keeping a gap of 3–5 cm, so that the field heats evenly across its full width.
Is 150 W enough in a thermoforming machine?
That depends on the material and the size of the mould. The data sheet gives only the working geometry, that is 15–20 cm from the material being formed, and the manufacturer leaves the matching of output to the process to the user.
