Ceramic infrared emitter (325 W) KE-ACS2-325W

Item no. KE-ACS2-325W · EAN 2010000134160

  • features a spherical shape of the radiating surface (this allows the radiant heater to be placed further from the heated surface while reducing the number of radiant heaters on the heating table)
  • when radiant heaters of this type are used in thermoforming machines, a distance of 15-20 cm from the heater to the formed material is recommended, and a spacing of 3-5 cm between the individual heaters
  • they are well suited to heating panels in all drying and heating processes
Power
325 W

In brief

  • 325 W is an unusual step of output: the middle variant of the KE-ACS2 series.
  • The value falls exactly between the 300 and 400 W of the KE-ACS1 series.
  • A spherical radiating surface, as across the whole family.
  • The remaining outputs in the KE-ACS2 series are 200 and 500 W.

Ceramic infrared emitter (325 W) KE-ACS2-325W – how to choose the right one

KE-ACS2-325W is a 325 W ceramic infrared emitter – the middle item of the KE-ACS2 series, between the 200 and 500 W variants. It has a spherical radiating face and is intended for heater panels.

Three hundred and twenty-five watts is a value that is not repeated anywhere else in this category. It fills the gap between the three hundred and the four hundred watts of the KE-ACS1 series, so it tends to be chosen when a trial with the weaker element came out too cool and the stronger one proved excessive.

With differences this fine it is not worth settling the matter on paper. If the panel is already built, swapping a few units for the neighbouring step of output gives an answer faster than recalculating the demand.

How to choose the power and the type of emitter for the station – we explained it in the selection guide for this category.

Where it works

  • Correcting the output of a panel by one step
  • Stations where 300 W has proved too little
  • Mixed panels using KE-ACS2 elements
  • Heating parts of varying thickness

Ask a question
Why 325 W in particular?

It is the manufacturer's catalogue value for the middle item of the KE-ACS2 series. The catalogue does not explain where it comes from, but in practice it provides an intermediate step where the other outputs are spaced roughly a hundred watts apart.

Can emitters of different outputs be mixed on one panel?

The data sheet neither forbids nor discusses it. The recommended spacing is given without distinguishing by output, so from the geometry side nothing changes – the distribution of heat does, however, have to be checked on the finished station.
