KE-ACS1-400W is a 400 W ceramic infrared emitter. The spherical shape of the radiating surface allows the element to be set further from the object being heated while populating the table with fewer points.
Four hundred watts is the output at which a panel starts to cope with damp material, and not merely with holding a temperature. The manufacturer lists drying outright as one of the applications of this family of emitters.
As the output rises, the supply calculation matters more. The gap of 3–5 cm given for thermoforming is tight, so over a short run of panel a considerable sum of watts quickly builds up – four units of this size already come to 1600 W.
