Ceramic infrared emitter (650 W) KE-ACS1-650W

Item no. KE-ACS1-650W · EAN 2010000130209

  • features a spherical shape of the radiating surface (this allows the radiant heater to be placed further from the heated surface while reducing the number of radiant heaters on the heating table)
  • when radiant heaters of this type are used in thermoforming machines, a distance of 15-20 cm from the heater to the formed material is recommended, and a spacing of 3-5 cm between the individual heaters
  • they are well suited to heating panels in all drying and heating processes
Power
650 W

In brief

  • 650 W is the last step before the jump to a kilowatt.
  • The highest output in the KE-ACS1 series below the 1000 W variant.
  • The spherical radiating face allows the points to be spaced more sparsely.
  • The data sheet describes one output, with no variants to choose from.

Ceramic infrared emitter (650 W) KE-ACS1-650W – how to choose the right one

KE-ACS1-650W is a 650 W ceramic infrared emitter. In the KE-ACS1 series it is the last item before the kilowatt variant, and the spherical radiating surface covers a wider section of the table than a flat face.

Between five hundred and a thousand watts the jump is large, and it is precisely this part number that softens it. A hundred and fifty watts of difference against the five hundred is often enough to avoid reaching for an element twice as powerful.

At this output a panel is usually populated more sparsely, but each point weighs more in the installation calculation. Two units come to 1300 W, which is more than a single kilowatt emitter contributes.

How to choose the power and the type of emitter for the station – we explained it in the selection guide for this category.

Where it works

  • Panels with heating points spaced more sparsely
  • Stations where 500 W is not enough
  • Drying in short-cycle processes
  • Heating large parts from a single point

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Have not found your answer? Give the area and the mounting height – we will select the power and the type.

Ask a question
When should 650 W be chosen instead of 1000 W?

When five hundred watts has proved too little, but doubling the output would be excessive. The difference in the supply calculation is clear: with four points it is 2600 W instead of 4000 W.

How many such emitters will fit side by side?

The manufacturer gives a gap of 3 to 5 cm between adjacent units for thermoforming applications and does not make it dependent on output. The number of points is therefore set by the length of the panel.
