The KP-PTC self-regulating heater is a screw-in item made of acid-resistant INCOLOY steel and supplied at 230 V. The manufacturer intends it for evaporating condensate.
Unlike heating cables, which work along a length, this heater acts at a single point – in one seat, next to one component. Selection therefore comes down to the fixing method and the location, not to metreage.
The material matters in practice here: condensate from a cold room can be aggressive, and the component works in it constantly. INCOLOY is an answer to that load, not an ornament in the specification.

How does the screw-in version differ from the cartridge one?
In how it is seated. The screw-in version is fixed in a seat, the KP-NPTC cartridge version slides into a prepared hole.
