Handle and catch KL-560 – how to choose the right one
The KL-560 handle and catch has a chrome-plated ZnAl5 alloy housing, a grip coated in black Rilsan and a catch in black polyamide. The manufacturer describes it as a version without a lock.
Rilsan on the grip changes what the hand feels. Metal in a cold store quickly takes on the surrounding temperature, and a plastic coating does not – on an appliance opened dozens of times a day the difference is noticeable from the first shift.
The black polyamide catch completes the same idea: the moving part is not metal. The contrast of black against the chrome-plated housing is sometimes also a visual choice, because the handle stays clearly visible on a light-coloured front.

Can a lock be added to the KL-560 later?
The data sheet describes this part number solely as a version without a lock and does not mention the possibility of adding a cylinder. If locking is to be part of the plan, it is simpler to specify a model described as a version with a lock straight away.
