Handle (stainless steel) KK-520 HP – how to choose the right one
The KK-520 HP is a cold room handle without a lock, in which the mechanism is made of stainless steel. The housing is grey composite, the grip is black, and the fitting fits interchangeably on left and right doors.
The letters HP in the designation refer precisely to the material of the mechanism. That's the only difference from the standard version, but in a cold room washed down under pressure, or in a room with a brine-laden atmosphere, it determines after how many seasons the fitting starts to offer resistance.
As with the galvanised version, the size of the keep is determined at the ordering stage. Without it, the handle has nothing to engage with on the frame side.

No – the grip remains black composite, just as in the standard version. The manufacturer's description applies the stainless steel only to the mechanism hidden inside the housing.
Do stainless steel catches fit this handle?
Yes, the range includes KK-520/521 HP catches made of stainless steel, and these are the natural complement to this fitting. Pairing a stainless mechanism with a galvanised keep would undermine the point of the surcharge.
