Left-hand handle (without lock) KK-4025 L (40-60) – how to choose the right one
The KK-4025 L handle, in the version for doors 40-60 mm thick, is a composite fitting without a lock, intended for the left leaf. It weighs 1340 g and covers the thinnest panel among all variants of this model.
Forty to sixty millimetres is a typical wall for a light positive-temperature cold room – a fruit chilling room, a dairy cold room, or a confectionery back room. With such a panel, the fitting's spindle is short, so mistakenly choosing the version for a thicker wall results in the bolt protruding past the keep.
The letter L in the designation is not an installation option, but a feature of the product. The equivalent for the other side is the separate product code KK-4025 R.

No. Unlike the KK-520, where the installer chooses the side, here the hand is built into the construction and marked with a letter in the product code. For the right leaf, you order the R variant.
The panel is exactly 60 mm – take this variant or the next one?
Sixty millimetres still falls within this range, so it's the right choice. The 61-80 variant only starts a millimetre higher.
How does this handle differ from the KK-4225 in the same range?
The KK-4225 has a built-in lock and weighs 1680 g, i.e. 340 g more. Apart from that, both models are described with the same panel thickness and the same composite construction.
