Magnetic handle KL-1010 – how to choose the right one
The KL-1010 is a magnetic handle with a chrome-plated ZnAl5 alloy housing and a grip in glass-fibre reinforced thermoplastic. Closing of the door is provided by a ceramic magnet, and the model comes in a left-hand and a right-hand version, without a lock.
The magnetic solution changes the way the appliance is handled. The door gives under pressure, so staff with their hands full open it with a shoulder or a hip – an advantage at the serving counter and at stations working at a high tempo.
The glass-fibre reinforcement applies to the grip, that is the part carrying the pulling force. The manufacturer does not give the fibre content or the strength, but the wording itself sets this grip apart from ordinary plastic.

Yes, the data sheet lists both as variants of the same model, so the side has to be stated on the order. It is determined from the hinge side of the door.
Will the magnet hold a heavy leaf?
The documentation does not give the holding force of the magnet, so with doors of a considerable mass it is worth checking with the supplier. The description itself points to easy opening, not to maximum closing pressure.
