The KK-01U L is a left-hand handle with a lock, intended for laboratory refrigerators and ultra-low temperature freezers. The body is made of aluminium alloy, the lock core of zinc alloy, and the mounting base of AISI-304 stainless steel.

The job of this handle is to press the door home so that it closes tightly. In appliances working well below zero that is a condition for maintaining the temperature and the contents of the chamber, not a matter of convenience.
