KZ-KO10iK is a stainless steel drain plug, 1/2 inch thread, 16 mm long, with Allen key adjustment. The manufacturer classifies it as type A.
The division into types A and B runs through the whole group of plugs, but nowhere does the data sheet explain what the difference is – it may concern the shape of the head or the way it seals. For a replacement it is safest to keep to the type already fitted.
A difference of one millimetre against a plug 15 mm long does not sound impressive, but when matching to a particular wall it is sometimes exactly what decides whether the joint holds.

Does one millimetre of length matter?
It does, if the wall is thin and the margin of thread for the nut counts. That is why the manufacturer carries several lengths in the same thread.
