Drain plug 1/2" (L=30 mm) KZ-KO10BM INOX – how to choose the right one
KZ-KO10BM is a 1/2 inch drain plug 30 mm long, made of stainless steel and fitted with a brass nut. The manufacturer assigns it to bain-marie bowls.
Combining steel with brass is no accident. A nut of a softer alloy tightens evenly and does not seize on the thread as readily as a steel – steel joint, which at high temperature can bind.
Thirty millimetres of length suits installations where the plug passes through a thicker wall or through the insulation of the bowl. With a thin bottom this version will be too long.

Two different metals seize on a thread less often than a steel – steel pair. With components undone after long work in the heat, that is a real help in servicing.
Does this plug have Allen key adjustment?
The data sheet does not list it, unlike the items with the Allen adjustment note in the name. If adjustment is required, it is better to choose a variant that has it described.
