Drain plug 1" (L=30 mm) KZ-KO14I INOX – how to choose the right one
KZ-KO14I is a stainless steel drain plug with a 1" thread and a length of 30 mm, type B.
An inch is chosen where the tank has a large capacity and draining has to be short. The larger the cross-section, the faster the bowl empties – and with appliances filled with working water every minute of downtime counts.
It has to be remembered, though, that the thread must match the seat in the bowl. A larger plug is not an improvement on a smaller one, just a different size.

With the same installation yes, but the cross-section has to be matched further along the run. A narrowing just after the plug cancels out the whole advantage.
Will an inch plug replace the 3/4 inch version?
No, the seat in the bowl is prepared for one particular thread. Swapping them would require altering the tank itself.
