The KP-KD-PL wire basket is a plastic-coated container in white, available in several models. It replaces a shelf wherever goods lie loose or in small packaging and need a wall to rest against.
In a chest freezer, the basket performs another function too: it divides the open space into assortment zones. Without this division, frozen goods mix together at the bottom, and stocktaking ends up as sorting through the whole contents by hand.
When choosing, depth matters most. A tall basket holds more, but goods at the bottom stop being visible and move more slowly. A shallow one shows the whole contents and forces more frequent restocking.

How should the basket depth be chosen?
By the height of the packaging and the pace of turnover. Goods that move within a few days can lie deeper; slow-moving ones are better kept shallower, so they stay visible.
Does the basket hang on the edge, or does it stand on the bottom of the unit?
The models differ in how they are supported, some are hung on the rim of the housing, others rest on runners or on the bottom. We settle the mounting method together with the model.
