Bin with a pedal lid (90 l) KZ-KOSZP90 – how to choose the right one
KZ-KOSZP90 is a waste bin with a capacity of 90 litres in AISI-304 stainless steel, with a lid raised by a pedal. It is the largest capacity available in a foot-operated version.
A bin like this is placed where the volume of waste is high and contact between hands and lid would be impossible anyway – at the end of the washing-up run or at the point where plates are scraped. One press of a foot is enough to deal with a whole batch of crockery.
It is worth checking the height of the open lid in advance. With a ninety-litre body the raised lid reaches higher than on the smaller models and can catch a shelf or the worktop the bin was meant to stand under.

Enough for the lid to open fully without resistance. A lid stopped by a shelf transfers the load to the pedal mechanism and shortens its life.
Will the ninety with a pedal fit under a worktop?
The body itself usually will, but the open lid needs vertical space. Under a worktop a smaller bin or a version without the mechanism is more convenient.
How often should a bin of this size be emptied?
In practice once a shift, provided the waste going into it is light. With plate scrapings it is the mass rather than the fill level that decides – the sack often has to be changed before the bin is full.
