Photocell electronic tap (1/2") AG-8025E – how to choose the right one
AG-8025E is an electric photocell tap with a manual mixer, a chrome-plated brass body and a sensor responding from up to 10 cm away. It delivers about 6 l/min at 3 bar and works on a battery or mains supply.
The mixer changes the way it is used: the temperature is set once, with a knob, and only the control of the flow remains touchless. It is a solution for places where the water has to be warmer than that from the pipework, but automatic closing is not to be given up.
Ten centimetres of range means the device responds only to hands slid right under the spout. At a worktop cluttered with vessels or in a cramped room that is an advantage – nothing accidental will turn the water on.

Ask a questionHow does a manual mixer work on a touchless tap?
It sets the proportion of hot and cold water, but does not open or close the flow – that is still controlled by the photocell. In practice the knob is moved a few times a month, not at every use.
Is the diameter of the mounting hole given for this model?
No, unlike the other taps in this group. It has to be confirmed before ordering, especially when the device is to go into an existing hole in sanitaryware or a worktop.
