Wall-mounted photocell electronic tap (1/2") AG-230E – how to choose the right one
AG-230E is a wall-mounted electric photocell tap, triggered from up to 10 cm away, battery-powered, with an output of about 6 l/min at 3 bar. The connection is 1/2" and installation takes place directly on the outlet from the wall.
Wall mounting solves the problem of basins that have no hole for a tap or whose rim is too narrow. Nothing then stands on the edge of the sanitaryware, and cleaning the basin itself is done without working around the tap base.
A 10 cm range and battery supply make this model a solution for cramped rooms with no electrical installation at the wall. The water starts only once the hands are right under the spout.

In narrow passages and where the basin stands right by the door. A sensor with a 60 cm range then catches everyone walking past and the water runs for no reason – at ten centimetres it responds only to a deliberate gesture.
Can this model be powered from the mains?
The description provides for battery supply only, unlike the deck-mounted taps in this group. If the premises require a mains supply, another part number has to be sought.
