Wall-mounted photocell electronic tap (1/2") AG-828E – how to choose the right one
AG-828E is a touchless wall-mounted tap with a photocell reaching 60 cm, powered by batteries, with a flow of about 6 l/min at 3 bar and a 1/2" connection. It is fitted with a start/stop function.
Supply from cells means that the working order of the device depends on maintenance. In premises with several such taps, battery replacement is planned in advance – preferably on the same date for all points, so as not to return to the matter every month.
The catalogue data coincide with AG-827E, so both part numbers can be treated as equivalent in a project. The difference most probably concerns the shape of the spout, but the manufacturer's description does not specify it.

The manufacturer gives neither the life of the cells nor a declared number of activations. In practice it depends on the traffic at the basin, which is why replacement is built into a cyclical inspection instead of waiting for a fault to be reported.
Which to choose: AG-827E or AG-828E?
The technical data show no advantage for either – range, output, supply and connection are the same. The look of the spout and availability decide, and any doubts are worth settling with the supplier.
