Mixer tap (3/8") AG-305KB – how to choose the right one
The AG-305KB mixer tap has a body of chrome-plated brass, a 3/8 inch connection and a ceramic cartridge. The spout swivels over the bowl, mounting is through a Ø35 mm hole, and the manufacturer declares a flow rate of 26 to 32 l/min at a pressure of 3–5 bar.
The body material is here the only distinguishing feature compared with the other single-lever models of the same parameters. On most data sheets in this group the material field stays empty; here brass with a chrome coating has been indicated unambiguously.
This matters in practice when choosing cleaning chemicals. A chrome coating is smooth and easy to wipe, but it is a layer – abrasive agents shorten its life faster than any mechanical load on the tap.

Chrome-plated brass gives a smooth, glossy surface, but that is a coating applied onto metal. The models in the inox series are made entirely of AISI-304 steel, so they have no layer that could wear through. The chemicals used at the station usually decide.
What is the difference compared with AG-305B?
The type of handle. The B version has an elbow lever, intended to be opened with the forearm, while KB is operated in the standard way. The body material, the connection and the declared flow remain unchanged.
