Mixer tap (3/8") stainless AG-MF2 – how to choose the right one
AG-MF2 is a mixer tap of AISI-304 stainless steel with a 3/8 inch connection and a ceramic cartridge. The spout swivels over the bowl, the body is seated in a Ø35 mm hole, and the flow rate is given in the range 26–32 l/min at 3–5 bar.
Choosing stainless steel at a station where the tables and sinks are already of the same material is above all a decision about the consistency of the back-of-house area. Chrome-plated tapware stands out from the rest of the finish, especially when part of the kitchen is visible from the dining room.
The three part numbers of the MF series are described identically in the catalogue. When ordering it is safer to quote the exact code than to rely on the trade name, because from the description alone it is impossible to work out which item will be shipped.

The surface is cleaned in the same way, but the material forgives more: scratching steel does not expose another metal underneath. Agents containing chlorides are nevertheless better avoided, whatever the body is made of.
What hole has to be prepared in the worktop?
Thirty-five millimetres in diameter – the same as for most single-lever models in this category. Replacing chrome-plated tapware with an inox version therefore requires no machining of the worktop.
