Push-button tap (2xM10x1) AG-82MX – how to choose the right one
AG-82MX is a push-button tap fitted with a water mixer and a timer. The connections take the form of two M10 × 1 threads – one each for hot and cold water – and the body is made of chrome-plated brass.
The presence of the mixer is the key feature here: water at a blended temperature comes out of the outlet, not cold water only. At hand wash points that is the difference between comfort and washing in whatever happens to come from a single supply.
M10 × 1 threads are a connection type found with flexible hose connections rather than rigid pipes. Before ordering you have to check how the lines are terminated at the given point, because this differs from the usual inch connections in this category.

It is a metric thread of a different size and pitch, so it does not join directly to a 1/2" or 3/8" pipe. The compatibility of the lines has to be checked before ordering, because forcing a fit ends in a leak.
Why does a push-button tap need a mixer?
Because versions without a mixer deliver water from a single supply. A mixer allows both lines to be brought to the button and an intermediate temperature to be obtained at the outlet, which for hand washing is usually a condition rather than an extra.
