Funnel KP-LA1 – how to choose the right one
The KP-LA1 funnel is a white PVC part with an M22 thread, used to drain water from a refrigeration unit's pan. The thread is made in a single-sided version.
Twenty-two millimetres is the dimension that decides everything. If the opening in the base was made for M24, this funnel will sit loose in it - and a two-millimetre difference cannot be made up with a gasket.
The single-sided thread version assumes the nut is done up from one side of the sheet metal. Where fixing from both sides is needed, a separate code, the KP-LA2, is provided.

Ask a questionWhat if the opening is 24 mm instead of 22?
Rather than fiddling with washers, reach for the KP-LA3 - the same construction, made for the larger thread. The manufacturer carries both sizes precisely so the opening never has to be reworked.
Will PVC withstand warm water from cleaning?
Yes, for periodic cleaning of the unit, since the water runs off and does not sit. The datasheet does limit this to the material alone, though - for constant contact with hot water, polypropylene parts are a safer bet.
