MBP-STC-H450.SA122.S is a monoblock for a refrigerated counter with a cooled volume of 450 L and a capacity of 500 W*, working within a range of +2°C / +8°C on R290. The power supply is 220-240V-50Hz and defrosting takes place by compressor off-cycle.
The output headroom shows up in a comparison with the neighbouring indexes: the 400 L variant has 360 W*, and the 550 L variant – 550 W*. The H450 version therefore comes out stronger than its volume alone would suggest, which matters in furniture that is opened frequently.
Defrosting by compressor off-cycle is a passive solution: the evaporator thaws in the break between cycles. Above zero this is enough, provided the controller allows time for such a break and the condensate drain stays clear.

Ask a questionWhat does the asterisk next to the 500 W value mean?
The manufacturer gives the capacity for the measurement conditions adopted in the data sheet. In finished furniture the result depends on the insulation, the ambient temperature and the number of openings, so the figures are not treated as a point guarantee.
Does R290 impose requirements on the installation location?
R290 is propane, so the charge limits and installation rules given by the manufacturer apply. The system is sealed at the factory, but airflow has to be provided around the condenser.
Can this version be set to a sub-zero temperature?
No. The range ends at +2°C, and passive thawing will not cope with frost building up below zero.
