MBP-KOS-L-SW is a ceiling freezer monoblock in a waterloop design, with an operating range of –25°C / –15°C on R290 refrigerant. The condensing heat goes into a shared water circuit instead of into the air of the room.
Waterloop makes sense where several refrigeration appliances work in one building and there is nowhere for their heat to go. Instead of heating up the back-of-house area, each of them is connected into a water loop, and the heat leaves the building through a common cooler or is recovered.
The solution does require a ready installation, though: a loop, a pump and a point where the heat is taken up. Without one, the air-cooled version from the same family is simpler and cheaper to install.

Yes. The appliance is connected into a water loop, so its design has to be produced together with the cold room, not after it has been installed.
How does this version differ from the SA version?
In the way the heat is taken away from the condenser. The SA version gives it up to the air, SW passes it to a water circuit. The operating range and the refrigerant stay the same.
Does a waterloop monoblock run more quietly?
The heat is not blown out into the room, which usually translates into quieter operation on that side. The manufacturer does not give a noise level for this entry, so if that is the deciding criterion we confirm it on enquiry.
