Draw-off tap with a threaded connection (1/2") AG-GT10 – how to choose the right one
AG-GT10 is a draw-off tap of chrome-plated brass with a 1/2 inch threaded connection, intended for bain-marie bowls. The manufacturer provides for fitting a non-return valve and – on request – an AISI-304 steel version.
The draw-off tap handles filling the bowl with working water, so it works on the opposite side of the circuit from the drain plug. In an appliance kept hot all day the two components wear differently: the tap from scale, the drain from deposits.
The stainless version on request is a significant distinction here. Where a specification calls for steel instead of brass, it is the only item of these four that can be ordered in such a construction.
