The combination of these two figures is what stands out. The load rating is at a level typical of polyamide legs of this size, but the adjustment headroom is almost half as short as in SR-3RN. This is a solution for level floors, where the point is fine-tuning rather than compensating for a fall.

On a level floor yes. With a fall towards a drainage grating – usually not, because the difference in height between the front and rear pairs of legs can exceed the whole range available.
How does polystyrene differ from polyamide in this model?
It is stiffer in bending but more brittle on impact. A leg standing quietly under a piece of furniture will not notice the difference; a leg regularly caught by a trolley will.
