Adjustable leg (40x40 mm) SR-40x40NT_ – how to choose the right one
SR-40x40NT is an adjustable leg cast in zinc-aluminium alloy, intended for a 40 × 40 mm square profile. The manufacturer declares 500 kg for a set of three pieces with height adjustment of 37–64 mm.
A uniform material throughout the section simplifies matters under load: there is no joint between two materials of different stiffness in which play would appear first. That is an argument for appliances that stand for years in one place under constant pressure.
Chemical resistance remains the limitation. Where the floor is flooded with water and detergent, the version with a stainless stem will keep the adjustment working longer.

The design of the casting and the section of the adjustment part decide, not the material grade as such. The manufacturer gives 500 kg for NT and 400 kg for NS with its AISI-304 stem.
Is 500 kg enough for a refrigeration appliance?
For a typical cabinet or counter usually yes, but what counts is the mass with a full load, not the dead weight of the appliance. If the structure comes close to the limit, the same family includes the FL version with a load rating of 1000 kg.
