Adjustable leg (40x40 mm) SR-40x40PI1,5 grey – how to choose the right one
SR-40x40PI1,5 in grey is a leg for a 40 × 40 mm profile with a polyamide body, a stainless adjustment stem and a rubber ring in the foot. The load rating is 400 kg for three pieces, with adjustment of 31–68 mm.
Combining plastic and stainless steel has a servicing logic here: the part exposed to corrosion is metal, while the rest of the structure is light and impact-resistant. A polyamide body takes a knock from a trolley better than a casting, which can crack under such an impact.
With stainless steel cabinetry, the light shade of the leg is sometimes chosen so that the base does not form a dark line under the front of the appliance.

Yes, because the most exposed part – the thread – is stainless steel, and the plastic body does not corrode. In constant contact with hot water, all-steel solutions do perform better, though.
Can the leg be turned under load?
Adjustment is carried out after the point has been unloaded, for example by levering the appliance up. Turning the stem under full weight destroys the thread and makes later settings difficult.
