Adjustable leg (40x40 mm) SR-40x40PIL black – how to choose the right one
SR-40x40PIL is an adjustable leg for a 40 × 40 mm profile with an exceptionally wide height range – from 30 to 100 mm. It carries 450 kg in a set of three pieces and has a polyamide body, a stainless steel stem and a rubber anti-slip ring.
Seven centimetres of movement changes the nature of the selection. Where ordinary legs call for shims under the rear pair, this model handles the fall of the floor by adjustment alone – and that means a structure you can set up once and correct without taking it apart.
The long extension has its price, though: at full extension the lever arm is at its longest and the structure at its most prone to rocking. If the target height falls within a shorter range, it is worth leaving the stem as far retracted as possible.

Ask a questionIs the leg stable at full extension?
It works within the declared range, but the longer the extension, the more prone the whole structure is to rocking. A practical rule: unscrew as much as you need for level, and no more.
How large a fall in the floor will this model handle?
Up to 70 mm of difference between the lowest and the highest point, provided the other legs have the same range. With larger differences the structure itself or the substrate has to be corrected.
