Adjustable leg (40x40 mm) SR-4RN black – how to choose the right one
SR-4RN is an adjustable leg in black polyamide intended for a 40 × 40 mm profile, with a load rating of 400 kg for a set of three pieces and adjustment within a band of 26–57 mm.
It is the mid-field model in this profile class: it carries more than the polyamide SR-706 and SR-709 with their 350 kg, but does not reach for metal or a stainless stem. In return it is light and needs no attention beyond a periodic check of the level.
Thirty-one millimetres of travel is enough for the typical irregularities of a hall or back-of-house area, though it falls clearly short of models with a range exceeding seventy millimetres.

Polyamide does not corrode, so the material itself is no obstacle. Where the floor is hosed down daily, though, a model with a stainless steel stem will keep its adjustment working longer.
How can I check whether the leg is properly seated in the profile?
Once pressed in it should not be possible to turn it in the profile by hand, nor should any sideways play be felt. If there is play, the dimension or the wall thickness of the profile does not match the selection.
