SR-706 in grey is a polyamide adjustable leg for a 40 × 40 mm profile with a load of 350 kg for three pieces and a height range of 23–50 mm.
In service practice the colour variants of this model are sometimes treated interchangeably – with the leg hidden under a plinth nobody will notice the difference, and the store does not have to keep both versions.
Where the base is visible, however, it is worth sticking to one variant within a run of cabinetry. Mismatched base colours catch the eye more than a difference in the shade of the furniture itself.

With plinth installations there is usually no need. It only makes sense when the legs are visible from the front and are meant to match the rest of the furniture.
How should the load be spread to use the full load rating?
The legs should stand in one plane and carry the weight axially. A structure that in practice rests on three of its four points loads each of them far more heavily than a simple division of the mass would suggest.
