SRW-4KRN RAL9005 is a polypropylene adjustable leg for a 40 × 40 mm profile with a load of 450 kg for a set of three pieces and a height range of 25–54 mm, in deep black.
A comparison with the polystyrene SR-40x40PL shows what you are paying for here: both legs have an identical declared load rating, but this one works in a 29 mm window, and the other in a 23 mm window and in a more brittle plastic. In an installation meant to survive years of work at floor level, that difference pays for itself.
The dark colour masks marks near the floor well, which is why it is sometimes chosen for sales areas, where the bases of the furniture are within the customer's view.

Polypropylene is more impact-resistant, polystyrene cheaper and stiffer. Where the leg gets caught by a trolley, the choice is obvious.
Can black legs be combined with light-coloured cabinetry?
They can, and it is often done deliberately – a dark base visually lifts the furniture off the floor. That is a design decision, and the technical parameters stay unchanged.
