Screw-on adjustable leg (A7107; Ben, rfr 135-185 mm AISI316) SR-H-16R HI – how to choose the right one
SR-H-16R HI (reference A7107) is a screw-on leg made of ground AISI-316 stainless steel, with adjustment of 135–185 mm and a load capacity of 1000 kg for a set of three. Grade 316 is distinguished by added molybdenum, which increases resistance to chlorides.
That difference in material is the only reason to reach for this version instead of the cheaper AISI-201 one with an identical range. Salt, brine, hypochlorite-based agents and sea mist are the conditions in which 201 steel begins to show a rust bloom, usually first at the edges and around the thread.
If the appliance stands in a wet zone but without salt and aggressive detergents, the surcharge for 316 does not pay back in anything measurable – the HG135-185 variant is then the more sensible choice.

Ask a questionWhen does AISI-316 genuinely pay off?
When there are chlorides in the surroundings: table salt, brine, chlorine preparations, air by the sea. This is the type of exposure at which the cheaper stainless grades become covered with a rusty bloom despite correct cleaning.
Is 316 mechanically stronger than 201?
The declared load capacity is the same in both versions and amounts to 1000 kg per set. The choice between them is a decision about corrosion resistance, not about load capacity.
How can you tell that the right version has been chosen?
By the suffix after the part number: HI denotes the version made of AISI-316, while HG with numbers indicates a height variant made of AISI-201 steel. In the specification on the card we always give the full grade designation.
