Drain 1 1/2" KZ-Odpływ 1 1/2" – how to choose the right one
The 1 1/2 inch drain marked KZ-Odp combines a PVC body with steel components. It is the basic version: without an opening mechanism and without an overflow pipe.
When ordering, state the size – the KZ-Odp designation covers four versions: 1 1/2", 2", 3 1/2" and 5 1/2".
A plastic body works well in back-of-house or staff-room sinks, less so where boiling water from pots is regularly poured into the drain.

Will a PVC body withstand hot water from washing up?
Short discharges of warm water are no problem, but regularly pouring boiling water straight into the drain loads the plastic far more heavily than steel. The steel variant serves better at such workstations.
