The 2" drain from the KZ-Odp family is made of PVC with stainless steel components. It is the wider-outlet variant in a plastic design.
Against the steel counterpart with the same connection, the difference lies in durability, not in compatibility. Both go into the same hole, but the plastic gives way sooner under constant contact with hot water and grease.

In the material. This drain is made of PVC with stainless steel parts, while KZ-E20 is made of stainless steel. The connection is identical, so swapping one way or the other requires no alteration to the bowl.
Do two inches require a larger hole in the bowl?
Yes, the mounting hole has to correspond to the connection. If the bowl was drilled for 1 1/2 inch, this drain will not go into it.
