Drain 3 1/2" KZ-D10-Odpływ 3 1/2" – how to choose the right one
KZ-D10 with a 3 1/2 inch flange is a screw-fitted drain in which a large hole in the bowl passes into a standard 1 1/2 inch outlet. It is made of stainless steel with PVC components.
The point of a large flange is simple: the area of the strainer grows, so residue from washing spreads over a larger area and blocks the flow completely less often. When vegetables are being peeled this translates visibly into the pace of work.
The screw-fitted version allows the component to be replaced in a finished workstation, without cutting or welding the top. The only limit is the existing hole, which has to correspond to the flange.

No, these are two different sizes. The first describes the hole in the bowl and the diameter of the visible part, the second the connection by which the drain joins the installation.
Can a screw-fitted drain be replaced later without help?
Yes, and that is its main advantage over the welded-in version. Replacement comes down to undoing the joint and changing the seal.
