Drain KP-CC – how to choose the right one
The KP-CC drain is a black nylon part with a 1/2" thread, fitted in the base of a refrigeration unit along with a nut and a rubber gasket. It drains the water collecting in the pan.
Nylon is a stronger material than PVC for this role: it withstands tightening better and does not crack when the nut is overtightened, which matters in practice when fitting to thin sheet metal.
Half an inch is enough where there is not much water - in display cases with a small exchanger, or units working in a cooler environment. For heavier defrosting, models with a 3/4" thread and up are used.

Nothing in the catalogue data: both have a nylon body, black colour, rubber gasket and 1/2" thread. Only the code tells them apart, so for a replacement order it is worth giving the designation taken off the unit.
Is a nut included in the set?
Yes, the datasheet lists the drain together with a nut and a seal. There is no need to buy fixing parts separately - a prepared opening of the right diameter is all that is needed.
